Today I will tell you about Indian gooseberry halwa. This one is my mom recipe. So, lets not waste time & start right away .. U will need: 250 gm awla, 200 gm sugar. Wash awla. Boil them. Separate seeds from each piece. Mash awla properly. Use mixer, if needed. Heat a thick bottomed kadai properly. Add awla paste to it. Add sugar right away. now keep the flame on sim. keep stirring. After 10-15 minutes, the color will change. you will know halwa is ready when it starts lsticing to your chamcha. Tip of the Day: Store it in a air tight container. It can be easily kept for 15-20 days. Eat 2 spoon daily in the morning, it will boost your immunity. 1 COMMENT
